Interiors

Kitchen Interiors
Kitchens and accessories are what interest me the most, there are so many accessories to a kitchen such as all the utensils, and dishes like; cups which could be engraved on the handles or plates which could be printed on, on the face of the plate. Kitchens link with dining areas and the table layout including; table cloth which could be printed on, placemats and coasters, a table centre piece such as a small lamp of candle.
The Retro kitchen here includes a dining table within, others may not, the fruit bowl could also be engraved onto. The seperate dining table appears quiote plaine but infact look at all the accessories on the table, everyone of them has a printing potential.

Lounge Interiors
Some variations of lounge interiors, some more modern than others, some very warming and homely. It also shows Some areas in the lounge which could be printed onto like; lamp shades, pillow cases, Frames on mirrors and photos, even chairs. I quite like the idea of using the laser cutter and cutting a design from a pillow case the putting another colour fabric underneath, like reverse applique.

Stage2

Stage1 of the project was to experiment with each of the print processes using a symbol of my choice, Stage2 has more of a theme. My aim is to produce a small amount of artefacts for an interior of my choice, the artefacts must all be in the same room of the interior so that i am able to place them in their environment and take photos, of the scene. The overall theme is "prints of Darkness".
First i made a mind map of some of the interiors in a home, which i could think of including artefacts in the interior of which i could apply some of the previously explored techniques to.
My second mind map was exploring the definition of 'Darkness', and anything that related to it, the most commonly occuring thing was, or linked to, mystery or fear.

LinoPrinting

Some more lino printing, to show a variation in colour i did more prints but because they were lost i took the saved prints into photoshop and editted the colour in there, using hue/saturation tool.

LinoPrinting

Using the lino tiles proveded i recut my design and printed with it, rolling the ink entirely over the lino, rather than just a small section due to the fact the previous one was too big. It worked an exeptional amount better but atleast i'v experimented and realised my mistake.
